Medcare’s wide range of sling styles meets many multi-care needs. Our slings slightly stretch to provide a contoured fit to most body shapes while the 4-point hook-up system ensures patient comfort. Our proven rip stop polyester slings are rated and tested to more than 2,000 lbs. and will not rip if punctured or torn.
In addition to the above benefits, our slings are treated with antimicrobial protection. This protection works 24/7 for an added level of cleanliness by inhibiting the growth of microbes that cause stains, odors and fabric deterioration.

Commode slings are designed to provide easy transfers to and from commodes or toilets or for hygienic purposes. An enlarged opening makes utilizing the commode quicker and easier than standard slings, with minimal interference of clothing or sling material. An adjustable belt attaches around the waist for added security and comfort during transfers.

WALKING SLINGS (VIEW IMAGE)
Medcare’s award-winning walking sling greatly reduces the risks associated with ambulation. The walking sling will comfortably support a person in the seated or standing position and allows injury-free ambulation by eliminating the chance of falling. The walking sling incorporates Medcare’s 4-point hook and loop system and works with any hook and loop sling attachment system. The convenient and comfortable leg strap design removes the strain to the groin area which other walking slings can produce, and the belt system easily fastens around a patient’s waist. Convenient handles are placed on the side and back of the sling allowing the caregiver to assist the patient, if desired. The inside of the belt and leg straps are manufactured with a non-slip material which helps them stay in place once around the patient.
