PATIENT SPECIFIC SLINGS & BELTS
To help reduce the risk of cross-infection and contamination, Medcare offers Patient Specific/Disposable Slings and Belts. Designed for use by a single patient and manufactured to be disposable, they are rated and tested to hold more than 1,000 lbs. and are sturdy enough to be used multiple times on the same patient. Once washed, patient specific slings will show a visible wash indicator, signifying to staff that they are no longer to be used and it is time to dispose of the sling. In addition, our patient specific slings are treated with antimicrobial protection. This protection works 24/7 for an added level of cleanliness by inhibiting the growth of microbes that cause stains, odors and fabric deterioration.
