Medcare’s Patient Specific Disposable Slings and Belts are designed for use by a single patient and help reduce the risk of cross-infection and contamination. Although manufactured to be disposable, they can be used multiple times on the same patient. Once washed, patient specific slings are no longer safe to use with patients and the wash indicator (shown below) will be visible. If you see the wash indicator on a sling this signifies it is time to dispose of the sling. Medcare slings are the first and only slings manufactured with Microban® antimicrobial product protection.
